Y is a question that is about Dowsing the Past

Y is a letter that could be mistaken for the other “why” if our consciousness was rising up from Freudian motivations of id, ego, and superego. But isn’t Freudian Psychoanalysis rather passé except amongst wealthy egg-head intellectuals?
